Helping our pupils and students to be work ready- building an alumni network.
One of the most valuable opportunities for our pupils and students is learning about the world of work and having exposure to different careers.
The Careers Department at Comberton Village College and Sixth Form is looking for alumni who can participate in our career events that we deliver to our young people.
Some of the ways you may be able to help are:
Would you be able to share an insight into your career talking to small groups of pupils and students at one of our career fairs?
Do you work for a local company that offers work experience opportunities?
Do you work for a company that offers Degree Apprenticeships and/or apprenticeship pathways?
Do you have an interesting or unusual job? We are looking for participants for a ‘What’s My Line?’ careers event where pupils are tasked with discovering what you do for a living by asking questions and developing their ideas.
Are you an entrepreneur or small business owner and able to speak to small groups of our pupils and students at one of our career events?
Are you currently at university and able to speak to small groups of our pupils and students at one of our career events?
Have you taken a gap year or been travelling and able to speak to small groups of our pupils and students at one of our career events?
If you are able to spare some of your time, please complete the following form. We will then add you to the mailing list and be in contact shortly.
